Thank you for the compliment on the card. I tried my best to remember the colors so I updated the colors.
Technique: a simplified version .... Take the glossy CS and stamp pear with versa mark. Let it dry overnight or with heatgun. Tear a scrap paper and use as template. Starting on the right side start sponging on lightest color ink, move the template to the left and do the medium color (use the medium color to fill in some "white spots" to help make the colors gradual), then move the template again and use the darkest color, repeat as often as necesary. Take a tissue to wipe off the versamarked areas (resist). Stamp with darkest color, offset (refer to picture).
For a more in depth discussion with pictorial, please refer to the Technique junkies web site.
The lining up of the pears is the most taxing of chores. When you do the first stamping (the ghost), the pears must not be centered both vertically and horizontally. I found that the roller wheel guide helped position the pears. On the last pear stamping, they should be centered.
I have done more ghosting: just do a search or visit my gallery for alll of them.
