Hi all, Challenge no 29, and soon we'll be counting how many Challenges to Xmas...isn't that a scary thought!!!
My card this week is a butterfly and vine stamp on white CS edged with black CS, and coloured with chalks and waterpens. They are framed in 2 diecut squares with white gel pen stitching added. Diecut filligree corners with brown pearls are added top and bottom. Borders are green CS with embossed Herringbone centres and embellished with small metalic butterflies. Corner diecuts have small brown pearls in their centres, and all shading is done with Bark Ink.
Thank you all for your continuing support in my new venture of cardmaking, and to Lovely Linda my daughter who gives me great advice when needed.

Hi Mum - what a lovely card, that image is gorgeous and the way you have displayed it with the vintage corners is stunning - you know I LOVE those corners!!! The metal butterflies are a perfect touch - this almost looks like it is a metallic plaque - very nice! The Herringbone Ef looks fabulous too - well played Mum - you have nailed this challenge! Thanks for playing along with the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week, we look forward to seeing you next week! {{{hugs}}}

WOW, Lesley, what can I say...this is just so gorgeous, you definately know how to stun your viewers! All the fabulous details just make this card...the Herringbone embossing, corner diecuts, little brown pearls, and of course the butterflies (always a favorite of mine). Absolutely fantastic eye candy.....this one should be framed
Thanks so much for playing along with us each week. Even if I don't get around to commenting every time, I do so enjoy seeing your beautiful creations.

Holy smokes Leslie, I could loose myself in all these fine and wonderful details. I have watched butterflies all summer from my Florida room which has 13 windows and 2 doors where I craft each day....and this reminds me of those beautiful creatures. What an exquisite card. I love how you used the little corner details in a unique way. So creative. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Midnight Madness.
