I was inspired by these black and white buttons. They reminded me of a box I saved from a ribbon purchase to use for flower centers. I also drew from the background used to showcase the buttons for my choice of card base color.
Thanks for the challenge Stephanie!
-The sunflower is die cut with Shapeabilities and embossed with the Cuttlebug folder then ink distressed. I also run a black marker along the edge of the petals to give it more definition. The polka dot center is cut with Nestabilities.
-The base, yellow punched border and envelope were also ink distressed.
-On the envelope two score lines were made along the embossing edge using the Scor-Pal.

This is AMAZING Rox. My sister LOVES sunflowers so whenever I see one, I think of her. She would absolutely adore this. So much amazing texture and detail. Love the embossing on the petals and that marker to define adds extra effect and drama as does that oh so adorable dotted center.

Oh Roxie I just love your sunflower! The entire card is so appealing. And you know by now I love when you do a bit on the inside and envelope. That just makes it for me. And you have achieved so much texture. Fabulous card! TFS
