I thought I didn't have a cardinal stamp until I looked in the MMTPT68 gallery and saw all the beautiful bird cards. One of the birds reminded me I had this Cornish Heritage Farms set. I totally need a better storage system or something! I made my first card based on what I was thankful for so this second card is based on the cardinal teapot. I am going to send it to my MIL who totally loves cardinal Xmas things - she has all the dishes, platters, teapots, etc. I used the polka dots in honor of MM.
Thanks to Sheri for the branches I used and MariLynn for the lovely teapot pin.

HEEHEE!! I get to be the first to comment on this wowser card. This just really jumps...guess you got over your fear of white cards real fast... Glad the branches could add to the festive look. Your MIL will love this.

I LOVE that Kim Hughes cardinal - often and often I look at the set, but no way could I get it for just one stamp. He has such a cheeky look, great attitude. And he looks wonderful perched on that snowy branch with the Dew Drop berry and the foliage.
Now I think I've earned a cup of tea after catching up on the tea-party cards .

I LOVE this! The cardinal is so cute, and I love the bling! I'm quite sure your MIL will be very happy to receive this card! You probably already know this, but we don't have the cardinal here in the UK as a symbol of Christmas - our bird is a robin. (Maybe I'll bend the rules and do a robin card for the tea party!)

Aw...this lil beauty is a show-stopper! I love the 'snow' and the great little bird- he is sweet! Also love how you honored Da Mudder with polka dots. She will love this. Hugs.....
