This week for the Teapot Tuesday challenge, it was suggested that we make a card based on the lovely cardinal teapot or that we focus on what we are thankful for. I don't have a cardinal stamp so I had to use my old faithful Natural Beauty stamp set. I am thankful for so many things... but if I had to boil it down to just one, I am thankful that I have God in my life and He is there to pick up all the pieces from all all my messes, failures, hurts, and tangents (those tangents are the worse).
I actually cased my newest SCS buddy, ApricotRose (Sally), who has such a pretty and clean style:
I am afraid of white cards but she isn't, and I just love how crisp her cards look. If you have time, drop by her gallery and take a look. She is new to SCS but looks like she has been making cards her whole life!
TFL!

Oh what a sweet surprise! This is the first card I saw today, and it's my buddy! Nancy, I love the bloom bursting thru the distressed paper. Beautiful! I am also a fan of Apricot Rose and I think this case will make her smile too. LYMI

Wow Nancy, I am so honoured!! Thank you my friend! Your white card works fantastically (hmm, have I spelt that right? Ah well, if it's wrong I'll just say it's the British version!) I just love how you've done the bird coming through the paper - brilliant! It's funny you saying about being uncomfortable with white cards, because I've got a bit fearful of cards that DON'T use a lot of white!! I will have to follow your example and step outside my comfort zone this week! (I'm sure I've got some shocking-pink cardstock around somewhere...)

This is such a beautiful card and I agree that Sally has a gorgeous gallery of cards. She should have been displaying those beauties a long time ago. This is such a unique card and I love it!
