We were to use the Emerging Colors technique. This was my first effort so I appreciated all the extra tips. I guess I glossed over the part where they tell you NOT to use dark colors on the bottom pattern. You don't have to look too closely to see my pattern show through as this dries- YIKES! No time to redo as other challenges await. But how cool is this. Next time I'll use lighter colors for that first layer of pattern.
I used Garden Green and Real red to stamp a mistletoe image underneath. I used Bravo Burgundy on top, with Artichoke to stamp boughs of pine, which you barely see now.

This turned out great, lovely colors, love the ribbon, a yummy card! Love how that stamp worked for this technique. Yes, I've had a few experiemnts with colors, you think it will be covered and then it's not, but it's all good!

Excellent work with a technique that I have found to be very, very challenging. I like your color choices.
You've inspired me to try it again sometime!

I love this technique. I like the result when you use darker colors underneath--it hints at the images that show through the clear part and I really like that. Your card is fabulous and I love the mistletoe behind the burgundy. TFS!
