I saw this idea here on SCS - with the city in a circle and Mary/Joseph partially cut out. I'm sorry I don't have the link to give credit - it was a LOVELY card.
I stamped everything on glossy white paper. For the city, I stamped in Black Staz On and then used SU markers to color in parts of the buildings. I stamped Mary/Joseph on glossy and colored them with SU ink and blender pen and then cut them out. The top piece is glossy white that has been sponged with Pacific Point, Elegant Eggplant and Baja Breeze ink and then raised up so that there is a 3-D look to it all
The star is from the Darling Dots stamp set and cut out. To get the "rays" from the star, I laid down post-it-notes and then sponged yellow in between them.
TFL and let me know what you think

Karen, a marvelous job on this one. LOVE your coloring and sponging and the way you popped everything up and cut out Mary and Joseph. It turned into a spectacular card. Also love the yellow light from the star!! TFS!!
