Another Christmas card coming your way!! I went with a simple red and white card this time. I'm trying to design one that won't cost a fortune to mail. I almost made it till I got to the little rhinestones, but I only used 3 little ones, so hopefully I can get it to mail less expensively than most of mine turn out.
I finally got a new holiday embossing folder, Holly Ribbons. I was so tired of using my 2 snowflake ef's even though I love them too. I made the layout like a wrapped gift with a bow, added 2 label 4 nesties, an ornament using my SU ornament punch with the Merry Moments DSP, added some bling and a little red thread at the top of the ornament compliments of djahner~thanks Deb~, and sprinkled the 2 nestie panel edges with dazzling diamonds for a little extra sparkle. I popped up the first white embossed panel, the 2 nestie panels and the ornament on dimensionals. And, that's all she wrote. This was a fun card to make. Oh, forgot, also added some diamond stickles to the swirls in the ornament instead of using my rhinestones to help with mailing.
Thanks so much for dropping by for a visit and if you have a chance to comment, let me know what you think!

Pam, I love your 'wrapped gift' card...nice idea! I have wanted that Holly Ribbons ef and haven't seen it in a store. Guess I'll have to get it online.
You sure tie a nice bow on your packages. Love this red and white beauty.
Working on my tree, Pam....wish you were here to help me.

Oh Pamelina Fruitflake (you keep showing your flaky side in your wonderful photos) - this is another wonderful addition to your awesome Christmas Collection... I would love to get my grubby little hands on some of those wonderful new embossing folders I've seen showcased here on SCS, but I shall endeavour to be satisfied with what I have at hand... (This place can be so hard on the budget...!!!) Love the red and white look with the gift-like ribbon treatment. So purdy. I know how hard it is to resist adding the extra embellies but those little gems sure do make them smile when they add up the postage fees down at the post office, don't they. Wonderful card - still not getting much done here as my elbow has flared up again this week. C'est la vie...

Gorgeous card Pam! All the little extras make it so Christmassy! I'm guessing that the mail in the US is charged according to thickness as well as size and that's why you have to watch the rhinestones? Here in the UK we switched to that kind of postage pricing a year or so ago - it definitely hampers the bling!!
(Love your photo of the card btw!)
