The stampin' b's challenge this week was to make something other than a card. Great challenge NancyRuth. I decided to make an origami Christmas tree. I made several of these about 6 years ago, and I decided it was time to make some more. I made mine using 3 12x12 sheets of dp. The base of the tree is 8"x8". The one above it 7x7, then 6x6...5x5...4x4...3x3 and top is 2"x2".
I found a guy on youtube who has a tutorial on making these trees. I will have the links on my blog: Mississippi McGyver.
I topped the tree with some quilled flowers made out of coffee filters. I added ribbons and little beads as ornaments.
