This is beautiful. I may have to CASE this one for my cards this year. I'm trying to figure out the sequence to getting your result. Did you sponge navy on background, then sponge bleach to get this effect?
Though I've never had a lot of luck with bleach, I'm willing to try again for this one. I love it. And I'm with you. This is one of my favorite retiring ones. I hated to see it go.

I used a fine mist spray bottle to apply bleach to bordering blue cardstock. I then used some of the bleached paper for my background and some of it to stamp my image on. I made several of these and I would spray bleach of a few sheets of cardstock at a time and let dry and then assemble my cards. I hope this helps, thank you for you kind words. I have just started to post.

I have always wanted to try the bleach, but have read about possible stamp damage in a few posts, so have been reluctant. This solves the issue. thanks for sharing.

This is one of my favorite stamp sets, too! I couldn't believe it when I heard it was retiring! This is a most gorgeous card. I've added it to my favorites so I can recreate it. Thanks for the instructions!
