What an interesting site Stef chose for today;' Inspiration Challenge! I finally picked Bargello Waves Pillow. I liked all the color and the fun design. I had started to color this when the IC was posted so I went w/ the colors in the pillow. Don't you love it when what you're working on fits the challenge? And the early post really helped.
ETA: when I copied the link it went to other pillow, but now it won't. Go figure.
This is also a Sneak Peek at one of Innovative Stamp Creations beautiful new releases for November! I'm using the On the Shore image which will be released Monday Nov 9.
The image was stamped and colored w/ markers and a blender. Some highlights were added w/ a white gel pen. I used the Spellbinders Labels 4 to die cut a frame out of the blue c/s, edged it w/ a white marker and attached it on top. It's attached to a green layer that was first stamped w/ Little Specks bg and leaf green ink.
I stamped the silhouette cattails from the Mini Book Series sheet on scrap white c/s first w/ the green ink, then overstamped it w/ blue ink and cut it out. The sentiment from the Picturesque sheet was cut w/ a Nestie circle die. Two white faux brads were punched and added in opposing corners.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
