Hi! Here is another card I made for today's ways to use stickers challenge. When I was putting the stickers for the previous cards I made away, I remembered I had these sticker sheets from Penny Black. I have loved the stamps and artistic cards put out by that company for a long while, probably since I got my first stamping magazine!
And yes, this and the previous one are both holiday cards, in a way. My mom and my sil are getting some cards as gifts for Christmas. Since I felt sorry for my mom a couple of weeks ago because she had run out of cards (and my sil got some as a gift for her Sept. birthday), I gave mom the ones I had made throughout the year for her gift. I need to make more for both of them for Christmas!! And since mom's birthday is in Jan. I need to make more for that!! I really need to get cracking!!!
To make this card, I made matching dsp by sponging bravo burgundy, rose red, more mustard, and old olive inks on a piece of regal rose cardstock. Then I sprayed it with bronze glimmer mist. It picks up all of the colors in the sticker! I was enjoying myself so much that I did the same for a piece of old olive cs (which I sponged with always artichoke and more mustard before spraying with the glimmer mist). I then put the sticker on the olive cs, then mounted that on the rose cs, and taped the whole thing on a very vanilla card and voila! it was done!!
Anyway, thanks for looking and have a blessed day!
