Oh, I'm so happy I was able to get to the featured stamper challenge today. Miss Boo was selected as this week's stamper and does she have a wonderful gallery or what??? Congrats Jen and enjoy your week.
I LOVE CAS cards, but struggle with them. So, this gave me a wonderful opportunity to be inspired by Jen's CAS cards. I chose this card to case:
I used the beautiful flower from the SU Fifth Avenue set that I recieved in a RAK from the one and only Peggy-Sue!! Boy, did I luck out, she had already embossed it in white on shimmery white paper and colored it for me, so all I did was sprinkle a little dazzling diamonds along the edges and pop it up on dimensionals on a piece of textured white card stock embossed with the swirls ef. Thanks SO MUCH Peggy-Sue!!! I opted to go with a rose pink, white and black color combo. Oh, and I also used the swirl on top from a RAK also received from Peggy-Sue of SU rubons. You're the best girl!!
I struggle with CAS and had to stop myself, but I just had to add a trio of black pearls and the MS doiley lace punch on the middle white panel. I popped up the main panel, the pink panel and the flower on dimensionals.
I really enjoyed putting this card together and it took half the time it usually takes me to get a card together, so maybe I'm on the road to getting better at my version of a CAS!!
Thanks for taking the time to look and if you have time, let me know what you think!

Beautiful card...a delight to discover during my morning gallery gazing. Of course you had to add a trio of pearls and a punched edge. Of course you did. I totally understand. And my dear Fruitflake, the reason this card took you half the time is because dear, sweet Peggy-Sue coloured the flower for you. And it's a beauty. And she'll be so proud of how you pulled it into such a gorgeous card... This technique is on my 'wanna-do' list and I just may have to use your layout when I do it 'cuz it looks so amazing. Great job Pamelina...

Hey, you cheated! Wow! That Peggy-Sue does BIG when she sends a RAK..already colored and embossed. You can't ask for more than that. But, what an awesome job you did with it by adding those PEARLS and your doily lace at the bottom. Love that swirl, also. A magnificent CAS card. Good for you!!! It is outstanding and beautiful!

Pam, your card is just stunning in its simplicity, colors, layout and textures. I love how you added the DD to the rose. I also struggle with CAS, but just love the style. TFS into my fav's....
