I haven't had a chance to do one of the weekly color challenges for quite a while, and this one grabbed my attention. I adapted it to a need I had: to make Thanksgiving cards for Janet to send out. Bless her, she loves the cards I make and pays me to practice my fun hobby!
Since I didn't have more than a few scraps of Apricot Appeal cs, I used some DSP from last year's Patterns Pack Hostess reward from SU. I think the wheat image in the dark ink is just strong enough even on the patterned background.
I inked the sentiment on the card front with my Bermuda Bay Marker, omiting the "of you." On the inside of the card, I stamped the other Thanksgiving message from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set: "The truest measure of our thanksgiving is how we use the blessings for which we give thanks." What a great quote!
