Unidentified Silver Flying Object seen overhead recently, with one unidentifiable species of deer also ranging free.
When I read Cindy's blog this morning my first thought was that I had no sleighs. And then I remembered that about four years ago I did a whole batch of silver sleighs using one of the Fiskars ShapeBoss templates, and lots of little silver bells.
I'm right out of silver bells this year .
A2 navy base. Black card embossed with Snowflakes ef. As I had trouble with my first attempt of embossing silver on the right side, the second time I did a sort of negative embossing with Versamark on the folder, and embossed with silver EP afterwards. Southwest corner punch and red metallic cording. The little silver panel was cut with Labels 8 and then I embossed the sleigh. Added a little gold deer with a ruby nose.
Something tells me this is a card that will be going to a tea-partier rather than a member of the general public. Hope to be back later with a more orthodox card that will still qualify on the grounds of something with wings.
Thanks for the trip this week, Cindy. Looking forward to some of those goodies Mrs Santa has lined up - I've only ever read about divinity, never had it. And - we had so many trick-or-treaters last week that all the candied popcorn I made for the eaves of my Sweet Treats house went, and there was none left for me. Sniff...

A sleigh like this is state of the art. I am sure it will fly just fine even when it is loaded down with a year full of teapots for Cindy! After all, Santa has Cindy on his good little girl list, doesn't he?
The card is so pretty here and I can imagine that it just sparkles in real life. Love the little red cord and the embellishment deer.

All the elves will be oohing over this beautiful sleigh. At Christmas you can hear bells even when they are not there so no worry. Your bkgrd. looks just like the night skies up high and away from the city lights.

Hi thar, Sabrina! I hears you cooks a mean crawfish pie, and I'm here to try it. Yum!
So, you likes my hair doo-dads? It's a new trend I'm tryin' to git started here in the States. I'm hopin' to make lots a money off of 'em so I kin buy lots of cool stampin' stuff. Do you think they'd sell in Ireland?
Sabrina, I jus gotta tell ya that you shure are one talented lady. Yer beautiful night-time sky reminds me of a tapestry and is jus so beautiful against that shiny silver sleigh of yorn.
I thinks its a good idea of yorn, also, to send our silly shiny silvery cards to other tea partiers. Their the only ones that'll "git it." Dat Muddermark sure has us makin' some goofy stuff at times. Not that yers is goofy....no way....no how. Yers is beautiful!
Hey! Ya wanna play go fish? Come on over here to this hole in the ice. Yeah.....be careful now....don't slip and fall in. Bionic Burdie needs to git some shiny slimy silvery fishies for all her friends. You want some?
