I wanted this card to be simple but elegant, so I thought I'd try embossing vellum. I cut a piece of vellum to the same size as my vanilla base, then ran both pieces through the cb with my embossing border. I folded them together before tearing the outer edge. The sentiment is stamped on very vanilla, and I stamped the butterfly on vellum and cut it out.
Thanks for looking...

Darla~ these are the most difficult cards for me to make, because of the tenderness needed, and you have certainly achieved that! Your card is simply elegant! Love it, and you sistah! Good to see you this morning! Hugs, LYMI

Darla, this is very soft, pretty and elegant! Thanks for sharing the steps as I have been commissioned to make several sympathy cards and they come so difficult for me. I feel a CASE coming on!
