We were to use the weather as inspiration and have combo of three pairs (2/2/2).
It's raining today just like it has for all but one day this week here in Missouri, so here is my weather inspired card. Hopefully you can see the raindrop embossed background. It doesn't show really well in the photograph. The weather also inspired the color scheme and the sentiment for this card.
My 2/2/2 is the following:
2 colors of cardstock - blue and gray (cream is a neutral - that doesn't count does it? lol)
2 stamps - the bird with a flower and the sentiment
2 SCS challenges in one card! heehee, o.k., I don't know why that makes me giggle, but it does. I used the sketch challenge for this week too - find that here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for taking a look and may your tomorrow be bright and sunny!

Love your card! I'm a Missourian too, and we are all asking, "when it will end!!!" I think tomorrow is supposed to be drier here, so your card is right on. Let's hope!

I love your raindrop bg, and the sentiment that says tomorrow will be brighter. We are hoping to see the sun......maybe not today. Oh well. I love your birds!

I like this. I hope it's my forecast for tomorrow. You've perfectly captured the dull dark grey days we've been having here all week.
I like the raindrops, too. I nearly used that plate - but my Wizard doesn't like them very much and only embosses the centre third very well.
