Hi everyone.
I love this set and really wanted to bring out the new shimmer paints to go with it. I also wanted to use the softer reds and greens, so used Always Artichoke and Ruby Red. I initially stamped the central image on white, but realized that the shimmer white paint on white was... well... a little lost :-) Using the kraft helped me keep with the softer more muted tones. I used a stylus to apply my snow where I thought it would stick... and wanted a non-smooth surface on the stairs... to make it look as though the snow had been trodden on and then iced over a little... I mean... someone had to go outside and use that fabulous sled and skis before the last snowfall, right :-)
I also scored a subtle line above and below the striped matt for a little extra definition.
I used the layout from the stamping411 challenge this week.
thanks for looking

Gorgeous card. Thanks for writing about how you did it...I love hearing about the process. And all the details make this such a wonderful card!
