Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge: Purple Pretties.
I've spent the morning running around getting ready for my retreat that begins tomorrow. So, when I got home to grab a bite of lunch I thought, I'll just look and comment on the cards others have done and then go back out with my dad to pick up a few more items.
Well...I saw the challenge and HAD to participate! I LOVE purple! Besides black, it is my favorite color. I know...I'm gonna wear purple everyday after I turn 60! SERIOUSLY!!! (I plan upon making it at least that long! LOL)
the image was stamped in VersaMark and embossed in Gold. Next, I cut it out and sponged on Palette Inks Lavender Sachet, Violete, and French Lilac.
The pine boughs were stamped in Cognac and Landscape.
Finished card size: 5" square.
Total Time to complete: 9 minutes.

Oh Faith, this is so gorgeous - and I'm not overfond of purple. My teacher in national school when I was 9 and 10 wore purple a lot - I liked her, but she also wore an overpowering perfume and strong purples remind me of it! Hope your retreat goes great.
This is beautiful!! And purple!! I love it!! I don't know that I have ever made a card in nine minutes, though, remarkable. I might have to challenge myself to try. I love the way the ornament turned out, it almost looks like it has a satin finish on it.
