| | I don't really do customised cards, but my supervisor (who has been my best customer for the last two years) has lost her job, and she asked me to make a special thank-you card with a café and Chez Jackie. Roxie came up trumps with a sketch today that was perfect if she doesn't mind that I rotated it 180 degrees.
I've made this bigger than my usual, so that I could have two sizes of scalloping - it's 7" x 5".
All papers are My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow, apart from the watercolour card for the image, and the Bazzill for matting. I used a Fiskars scallop scissors for the big top awning, and added Stickles to the dots. I printed the name on the smaller awning and then punched with the scallop border punch. The top edge of the large awning is stuck down on the card base, but the scallops are each up on foam. The base of the image panel is also up on foam, so the top of it is the same level as the large awning.
Image was stamped with Versamark and coloured with H2Os. I edged it with pink, layered it pink Bazzill Bling, scalloped the sides and added tiny gems.
For the inside I used the big coffee cup from Pun Fun, and printed Thanks a Latte.
ps - the cup on the cafe table is glazed with Glossy Accents |
