Although this card has a simple appearance, it took a while to come together... but I am pleased with the result.
The rose was coloured with a green pen before twinkling H2O's covered that, and were also used on the flower, then a layer of dimensional glue was added to the flower.
The edges were sponged, then it was mounted on the dark pink card and punched with a fiskars punch.
The next layer was CB'd with the textile textures EF, then sponged lightly with the same warm red chalk ink used on the top layer. I also ran the edges over the ink pad.
The final layer was a slightly irredescent paper I had in my stash, layered over the dark pink card.
The sentiment was stamped in the magenta and clear embossed to keep it from taking any attention from the overall image.
