Hi! This card was made for today's Featured Stamper Challenge:RachelHope13. Participants were to CASE, (Copy And Share Everything), a card from the Featured Stamper's Gallery. I chose this card.
I changed the color combo and stamp set, kept the theme, layout and elements. I left off some snowflakes and kept the stitching.
The focal image was stamped in Palette Burnt Umber, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out. The Background pine needles were inked in Burnt Umber, off-stamped and inked in Jardin Moss. This color really looks "antiqued."
Yesterday I was really stressed, had a headache, and was grouchy. However, I got to talk to a few ladies who are coming to the retreat this coming Friday and that changed my attitude for a bit. At dinner I complained about the my attitude problem to Mark and Markie. Markie asked, "Mom, did you forget to stamp today? 'Cause when you don't stamp, you turn into MEAN MOM!" Wow....I was floored. I didn't stamp yesterday, and I felt so strange, like something was missing. What a revelation! And, another excuse to finish this year's Christmas cards! LOL

Gorgeous...I just love Basic Grey's Wassail papers and you've used them beautifully here! What a wonderful nutcacker image...The image, the papers, the stitching, and embellishments work together to make another work of art!
