The object of this challenge was to make a card with a holiday theme masquerading as another holiday. I chose to do a Gingerbread image which is traditionally for Christmas with a pumpkin. I love both of these things. This is a paper pieced pattern I drew for this challenge. Inside of my card, I have a pocket with two recipes, one for Pumpkin gingerbread Streusel and one for Pumpkin Gingerbread Trifle. I will have this card up tomorrow at www.chocolatecraftsandbearsohmy.blogspot.com so that you can see and get the recipes for these awesome desserts!!!

Pumpkin & gingerbread always go great together--in real life and on your card!!! Love all the paper piecing that you did and that plaid fabric is perfect for a nice cozy holiday! And I can't wait to see your recipes tomorrow-both of them sound yummmmy!

Awesome take on the challenge. I love that cute little gingerbread boy/girl. Your card makes me think of mulled cider and warm cookies ... a great Fall image!
