A stencil was created by die cutting a window sheet with the Big Shot and Tulipe Bigz die. Then using Dotto to adhere the stencil to Grid Paper I slipped the Cards Image layer under the Stencil and using a sponge dauber in circular motions applied ink directly to paper. This version also used a Big Shot Texturz Plate from Kit #4 inked up as a background stamp. Note the background was applied first and then the stencil treatment was applied. Ribbon and a brad finished the image layer that was then applied to the card base.
Sentiment was left off this version of card design so one could be added later as needed or left off entirely.
Ink: Real Red & Always Artichoke & Creamy Caramel (used only for background) classic inks
Accessories: Gold Brad, Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Sponge Daubers, Big Shot Created Stencil with Tulipe Bigz die, Texturz Plate from Kit #4
Techniques: Stencil
Difficulty (1-Easy 5-Advanced): On a scale of 1-5 probably a 2 only because of the finicky bits of the stencil you have to work with. Most beginners if they are patient can achieve this and feel good about it though their stencil work may be a bit off here and there.
