I had fun making this Hallowe'en birdhouse for the Jungle Jesters. The pattern and instructions for the birdhouse are found *here* on Nichole Heady's blog. =)
The largest die from Spellbinders' Nestabilities Labels Eight fit *perfectly* as my roof! I sponged SU! Chocolate Chip around the edges of my roof and on the bottom, white part of the Tart and Tiny Basic Grey paper.
I punched out the opening of the birdhouse and then used that to create a faux button for my tag. I stamped the cobweb on the "button" and embossed with coppery-brown embossing powder. I stamped the swirl from the Flaked Out set & the Cobweb (I masked the circle) with Dune Colorbox chalk ink. I used my glitter pen on the cobweb.
I used my Making Memories slot punch to punch ribbon slits on the very bottom of the house AND the roof. I threaded the ribbon through the bottom and then through the roof, that way the roof is removable and you could put (or hide!) some treats in there.
I was inspired by the Tart and Tiny paper to colour the Jungle Jesters.
Here are the Copics I used:
Mikey the Monkey: E71, W1, W3, T0
Timothy the Tiger: T0, Y38
Sammy the Snake: B12, E00, E71, RV14, T0, V000
Tikki the Toucan: G94, T0, Y11, Y38, YG03, YR65
Thanks for looking!!!
