Okay, this card took 3 days in the making. LOL!! I don't know but my Mojo seems to be on a holiday these past few days. I finally was able to put it altogether upon seeing stampersandees' card: Hear The Angel Voices which can be found here Hear the Angel Voices by stampersandee at Splitcoaststampers Christmas I actually stamped the church image prior to seeing her card but I was stucked on what colour scheme to use. I had the Going Gray on my mind but just didn't know where to start. I liked how she made the grayish sky with the masked moon so I gave it a go and somehow CASEd her technique a little bit. I hope she doesn't mind though.
Then I was into practicing using my Bow Easy and found Sharon Johnson's Autumn Blessings card with such a fab bow!!! I asked her how she did it and I was so glad that she emailed me in no time and shared her technique which can also be found on her blog. Wow!! Thanks to you ladies...thanks for extending your help to me. My bow looks good enough to look at, at last! LOL!!
The sentiment was stamped and cut with long rectangles Nesties. I wanted to mat it with the exact green colour that I used with the trees but I don't have the cs. So what I did was used a ruler and used the same Copic marker that I used to colour the trees to colour the sides. I then put some glue then generously apply the MS Crystal Fine glitter. The trees were stamped twice and pop dotted for dimension.
I know the colours are not the usual Christmas colours but what do you think? I will appreciate any feedback.
Thanks so much! Have a blessed day!
