I did this for a SB sketch challenge at StampTV and a Fall into Fall challenge at Color Me Daisy. It is a LO of my dd (MouseysMom) when she was about 1 1/2 yo. The journaling reads, When Gina was little she made up her own vocabulary and taught me the language! She called her “security blanket” (really a cloth diaper) a “yum-yum.” The advantage of having a diaper for a security blanket was that we had lots! One by one though she lost them until there was only one left! She was about 2 years old when I told her that when it was gone, there would be no more yum-yum. One day I saw it in the kitchen cabinet and knew she wouldn’t remember putting it there. When she asked for it, I told her that if she didn’t know where it was she would have to live without it. She was a trooper and just accepted that it was gone! At least that’s what I thought! When the nights got colder, I put a cozy blue flannel sheet on her bed to keep her warm, never dreaming that it would become her new yum-yum!

Love the layout and what a great story! My oldest carried around a blanket ... I have it packed away, or I should say, I have the few threads of what is left of it packed away!
