This layout is for IFC54 Challenge "Wizard of Oz". As soon as I saw the challenge I knew what picts I wanted to scrap! This is my youngest DS and his first "dance" opportunity at the high school. He waited until the last possible minute to buy a ticket, although he'd been carrying the $$ with him for days. He finally decided he would go and we went shopping for a new shirt & tie the day of the dance. He still wasn't sure he wanted to go but so glad he did. He looked so handsome and he had a GREAT time! "What a COWARDLY LION" he had been even that afternoon changing his mind about going possibly. LOL! Guess he found COURAGE and had a great time at the "Land of Oz" (aka dance)!

Lela,
I just love this story and the layout. It reminds me of the year I went to Jr. Prom with a group of other girls who were going "stag". We didn't get asked to the prom but it didn't keep us from having a good time.

This looks GREAT, Lela. I love the colors you chose and the stars and bling are perfect. I like the way you tied in the Cowardly Lion theme with these pics. I'm so glad it turned out well for your son!!

Love how you did your pages - the tearing at the top and jounaling across the bottom! Very cool to do some pics in color and some in B-W. Visually impressive. So enjoyed your story too - made me remember my DS 1st dance.

Love the colors on this LO! The stars really jump out as does the glittery title - perfect for homecoming, but not girly as it would normally be associated with. Love the ribbon around the photos too.
