I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date, no time to say hello, goodbye, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.
Too many dates IRL, but I've finally made it to the Mothermark Miss You party this week. And the WT239 last week, because I've travelled to the States, and the LSC 241 last week for an autumn card with only papers, stamps and colouring...
There are actually now one or two commercial pumpkin patches here in Ireland, and the Botanic Gardens usually has a few growing, but it's not part of the culture here except as an import. Any jack'o'lanterns native to Ireland were made from turnips or swedes. So, pumpkins aren't part of my stamping collection either, but I was lucky enough to get this set a couple of weeks ago .
A2, green Bazzill base, then a layer of My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow, then brown Bazzill. The image was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with regular watercolours, just used H2Os for the window which gives a bit of glassy shine to it. Sponged the background with green watercolour. I fished a Spellbinders Symbology die cut from BG Mellow out of my box of leftover punches and die-cuts, and the colours were perfect. I used a tiny little strip of the faux suede I made last night, instead of ribbon or twine, to attach it to the card - it's also popped up on foam. I added a little cat, and that's it.
Sorry for being so late, MariLynn, but I did make it in the end.

I started out my post the same as you - but I promise I had not read yours first - great minds think a like! This window scene is so cute and you colored and showed it well! Great job.

Sabrina, this pumpkin image is perfect. It looks like someone is getting ready for some baking. Pumpkin pie is my son Kaleb's favorite treat. His second favorite is cheesecake. Once I asked him which was his favorite. His little face got all sad. He asked why he would have to choose, and couldn't he just have both for his birthday.
