This was the first tall card that I started for the CCEE challenge this week - had to go back and finish it after I made my Birch Buddies. It also fits for Schirmcat's WOW #8 challenge - IDEAL; the seventh definition on her list is an ultimate object or aim of endeavor; goal. There are too many times I am neither joyful nor faithful - patience is probably my best suit. It was also seeing what Kelly did with the butterfly I sent her that opened my eyes to the options of altering them, so this is extra suitable for her challenge .
Business sized card, covered with green Bazzill. The floral paper is old and unknown, but was a perfect match for the My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus stripe. And the little pink daisy strip that One4Joy sent me was the perfect match for both .
Sentiment is Pink Cat Studio, stamped with StazOn Grey on white card, cut with Labels 8 and sponged with Peeled Paint. Sponged the edges with ColorBox Chalk Rouge. The Kaiser butterfly was painted with a couple of layers of gesso, then I stamped a background stamp with Worn Lipstick and embossed with clear EP before sponging the wings with Peeled Paint. I filled the body with gold MicroBeads, and added some pearls here and there.
