Card is for Challenge #54 on House Mouse & Friends Challenge Blog. Create a card using a movie title as the theme.
I picked It's the Greatn Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. How could I resist more Halloween goodies
I hand drew the cardbase template. It's hinged at the stem. I also drew a separate template for the leaf. Shading is done with Colorbox Chalk Cats Eye Ink Pads. I just swiped them directly on the cardstock. Some fun beaded wire added a great finishing touch! The sentiment is embossed.
You can't see on this picture...but I used some of the newly released colors of Shimmerz paints on Mudpie's pumpkin costume. I have a closeup pic on my blog at http://loribarnett.blogspot.com/2009...challenge

Well, this certainly is a 'great pumpkin'. You did a terrific free hand drawing of the pumpkin. The image is so sweet and colored so nicely. Great card! TFS. : )

Oh, this is wonderful! If you ever do a tutorial on your blog with the pumpkin template, please let me know! Into my faves!
