 | | When I saw the TLC today, I was hoping to combine it with the IC, which I missed because we were away for the weekend. But Etsy was down for maintenance - so instead I made a card to have in reserve. When we were away, we went with our friend to view a house she is hoping to move into when it's finished. It was a lovely little cottage - and her dad had done beautiful stone facing on the front, so I had to set my window in a wall. But I couldn't come near to reproducing that beautiful stonework, alas...
I followed the instructions for the Easel Card and made a 4" square card. Base is green Bazzill, with the larger piece embossed. Instead of a button, I used the oval punch and a couple of layers of card to make a little New Home (computer generated) sentiment, which I embossed with UTEE.
Stamped Window Dressing onto white card, coloured with watercolour pencils. I added Liquid Pearls to the left vase and the flowers. Drew some brickwork into the background, popped an extra set of shutters up on foam tape and mounted it on more Bazzill.
Fun technique, thanks Lynn. |
