Another baby card for one of the six friends that have all given birth in last month and all to girls!
It's hard to see in the picture but the base card is cream pearlised card and I brayered the top half with a graduated colour of Worn Lipstick Distress inkpad.
The stamped image is Whiff of Joy.
As requested - Fold instructions:
Score sheet of card in thirds (I used UK - A4 (210mm x 297mm). Score outer two thirds in half.
To create "diamond centre":
Find centre point of middle section at top and then at bottom.
Mark 5 cm (2") from top down both sides of middle section.
With two outter thirds folded into centre score between left hand 5cm mark (on fold) and middle section centre point, i.e. diagonal score.
Repeat for right hand side.
Mark 5 cm (2") up from bottom on both sides of middle section.
With two outter thirds folded into centre score between left hand 5cm mark (on fold) and middle section centre point, i.e. diagonal score.
Repeat for right hand side.
Use bone folder to make sharp all score folds.
Fold straight folds to look like photo. Fold diagonal corners towards back of card first. Then unfold and push "triangles" towards centre to look like photo.
I do hope that's clear... it's really simple to do.. but tricky to explain in writing. By all means ask me if you have any questions.
p.s. when two outters are pushed to middle it fits perfectly in a DL envelope (business letter folded into thirds envelope)
Thanks for looking... your comments are always much appreciated.
