Hello everybody. Hope your Friday is going well. This card almost didn't make it. I started this before work, sat down at the craft table setting my coffee cup down too all the while thinking "better not put that there". Went to reach something and BAM! spilled the coffee all over. Good thing I grabbed the "started card" or it would have been ruined. Whew.
Note to self: don't set coffee cup any where near where you are stamping.
I was going to up-load a card I made way before knowing about SCS. BUT I thought the shock might be too much. I must say, I have learned so much on this site and I owe it mainly to doing challenges. Now on to this card.......
Stamped another new image that I got the other day. I told you all I went a little crazy! Anyway, after stamping I clear ep. Colored the trunk with re-inkers. Stippled the tree part with sunset orange and rust. Added some copic white paint to the tree.
Made a mask, put it on and stamped the green pines trees clear ep them. Then stamped the black pine trees and clear ep them too. Colored the grass part with re-inkers.
Put liquid applique, smoothing it out with my finger then heated it up for a snowy look.
Sponged the sky with three different blues. Layered my scene with black and then orange cs putting it all on a white card.
Well, hope you like my stamped fall/winter scene....TFL :0)

You've created a beautiful scene using various techniques. That scenery looks familiar because it was snowing here this morning, but most of the leaves haven't fallen off the trees yet.

So glad you rescued this card from the coffee spill! Your cards stand out in the gallery with their spectacular and vivid coloring. This is another beautiful scene! Wonderful Fall card-just wish we had a few of those Fall colors here in the desert!

I love it!! It reminds me of a winter scene they showed not long ago here in Colorado, with the colorful aspens in the foreground and white tipped snow pines in the background. Here's my tip, I put my coffee in a to-go-thermos and that way if it spills it's not everywhere. Great job with your card today!!
