Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply challenge: Simply "Fall." Participants were to use only Stamps, Paper and Ink on their cards. (No embellishments were allowed.) However, diecuts and punches were allowed as long as they were not focal points.
When I was young, we lived in West Virgina, Virgina, Pennsylvania and Maryland. I LOVED to watch the leaves turn. It was my favorite time of the year. (Living in Florida, "that time of year" means HURRICANE SEASON!) So, I decided to make a card that deplicted a Fall Tree. The image was stamped in Palette Cognac. I QUICKLY used an aqua painter to blend the ink into the trunk. This ink is a hybrid and is NOT supposed to blend with water, but it will if it has not dried. Next, I sponged on Palette Ink: Cognac, L'Amore Red, Orangerie, Raw Sienna and Landscape to create the leaves and ground.
The sentiment was stamped in Cognac and hand cut out.
Total time to complete: 7 minutes
Finished size: 5" square
