AKBride (Hey, Teresa!) and I spent a glorious weekend at Astoria, Oregon attending a Scrappin' Retreat with 18 other women. We had a blast and are already packing for the next one...whenever that is. LOL! This is one of the pages I completed. I won the Most Inspirational Award with this page.
This layout is yet another 52 Weeks...52 Sketches http://52sketches52weeks.com/?p=302. I started with a 12x12 piece of To The Nines Specialty dsp. I then grabbed another piece of it and ran it throw my friend's Cricut to get that extra large Top-Note-shaped piece and adhered it to the page. I painstakingly attached each one of those celery-colored rhinestones with a Mini Glue Dot. I used the Naturally Serif die for Mason's name and glued it down. I stamped the verse with Basic Black ink onto Sahara Sand cs, cut it apart to go with the wavy flow and glued each piece down. The 8"x10" photo is layered on Blush Blossom cs. I used my Big Shot and the Swirly Decorative Strip Die with Sahara Sand cs, cut them and adhered them to the photo. While the Big Shot was out, I used it to cut out a Real Red and Blush Blossom heart. I wrote Mason's date of birth with a Stampin' Write Journaler on the Blush heart and then added them to the page with Dimensionals. For a final touch, I punched out a Round Tab Punch from Sahara Sand cs, cut it in half, added the Very Vanilla 5/8" Jumbo Brad and tucked it by the picture with a Dimensional.
