AKBride (Hey, Teresa!) and I spent a glorious weekend at Astoria, Oregon attending a Scrappin' Retreat with 18 other women. We had a blast and are already packing for the next one...whenever that is. LOL! This is one of the pages I completed. I actually won the Scrappin' Queen award with this one. Everyone got to vote on the best page, and this was it! Isn't that exciting?!
I started with a piece of Textured Close to Cocoa cs and adhered the horizontal piece of Certainly Celery dsp. I layered another piece of the dsp on Basic Black cs and adhered it to the page. My journaling was done with Word, printed on Kraft cs and adhered to the page. My 6 1/2" by 4 1/2" photo is layered on Kraft and Basic Black cs. I used my Big Shot and Naturally Serif Decorative Strip die for the title using Chocolate Chip cs. I embellished the journaling panel with a large star punched from Certainly Celery dsp and a Chocolate Chip corduroy brad. Finally, I pulled out my Sticky Cuts Sweet and adhered the tree trunk and all those leaves. I used Fine Supernova Chocolate Glitter on the trunk and Celery Chunky Sprinkles on the leaves. Wowza!
