Today's Try a New Technique Challenge was to make faux suede to use on our cards. It has been a long time since I have done this, so it was fun to revisit this technique. I started with a piece of PTI Vintage Cream cs, used the faux suede technique and then stamped it with Stampendous Simply Safari clear stamps. Then sponged with Distress Tea Dye ink and assembled onto the black card base.
Thanks so much for looking!

Wonderful!! I used to have some lovely leopard print handmade paper that cost about €1.50 a letter-size sheet - and this is every bit as good or better.

Wow, this makes me want to reach in and run my hand over the silky smooth effect you've achieved on this rich suede look--both on the bg and the gorgeous leopard.

Fantastic!!! I don't know how you got such a clean stamped image on the faux suede!!! Mine was more fuzzy or something... would have been hard to stamp this clean! I love this and the perfect image to put on the softness of the suede!
