Okay - take 3. Sorry if this is a duplicate but I tried to upload this 2 times earlier today and it never showed up in my gallery.
The idea is from the CTMH catalog and made at a friend's workshop.
The vase was on clearance at Michael's. It is filled with candy corn (the most expensive part of the project), paper shred (to keep little hands out of my candy corn), and wrapped with twine. I am thinking of switching to ribbon but haven't find the "right" one yet.
The branches are decorated with pictures of Halloween past, stamped/colored images, buttons, ribbons, foamies, and spiders (clipped off rings). Oh, I almost forgot my crow from the dollar store. I thought I would do more stamping than I ended up doing.
My daughter loves this tree. When ever any one comes to our house she strikes a Vanna White pose and asks "Don't you like the try my mom made? Look at the pictures of me."
What do you think?
Thank you for looking.
