I made this card for a young friend at church who is getting married. She is a lovely person....I kinda had her picked out for my oldest son, but...oh well! She's picked a terrific guy, though, and I hope they'll be blissfully happy.
I used a technique on the vellum called Pergamano that I saw in Heather's gallery (tankgrl). You outline the image with a stylus, then turn it over and rub the image with a stylus to fill it in. The vellum turns white when you rub it. It also sticks out a little and gives it some texture. If you're interested, labullard gives terrific instructions on THIS CARD.
You probably can't see the texture in my picture. I had to get my yearly mammogram today and run a hundred or so errands...so I'm posting late. I hate to take inside pictures. Anyhoo, it is really pretty IRL. I think she'll like it....hope you do, too.
TFL!
