I am STILL hankering after the new Martha Stewart punches but in the meantime I have set myself a personal challenge of trying to create different card edges, without the use of a border punch!
This is my first attempt! The snowmen along the bottom of the card are made from a Personal Impressions stamp No:P1138 (very kindly on loan from my DS!) watercoloured in various combinations of red & green, then given some bling courtesy of my much loved stickles!
Then I just cut them out and lined them up along the bottom to make it look as if they are lying on the floor.
The paper at the top is from the DCWV Christmas Stack and in the centre of each starburst I have added some more bling with a tiny adhesive gem.
Spotty polka dot ribbon along the middle and a fabric "The naughty list" sticker/woven label by Colorbok, mounted on to white glitter card which has then been raised with sticky fixers for a 3D effect, completes the card.
I really enjoyed making this, as even though I used the traditional Christmas colours of red/green (which I love!), I think the card itself it quite funky!
I hope you like having a peek at it, as much as I did making it!
As always, a whopper of a "Thank you" for stopping by x
