I saw a really beautiful quilt card this morning and I immediately set out to make one for Cindy. A quilt given to someone is always a gift of love. This took me most of the day because I was trying to find the card again for size and details but it was during the time when the cards disappeared again so I had a lot of figuring to do. I had to finish it though for Marilynn's challenge in honor of Mothermark. Weather still bad here in Aurora so I had to take picture inside. ugh!!! I really wanted my tree to be in it for Cindy but was unable to fight the rain, sleet and wind!!! Tuesdays are not the same without Mothermark. You are truly missed, Cindy.

Now wouldn't this be cool if you could actually make a quilt like this dear Sis!?! Your card is just amazing. I can see why it took you all day. You put so much love into it. Your dp squares all paper pierced and edges sponged are amazing. Love the lightly stamped sentiment up in the left corner. The blue bg just ties it altogether. Fantastic quilt card. Sis you done good. Cindy will just love this! TFS :0)

What a lovely quilt. Is a paper quilt like a real one - that all the different patches remind you of other projects? I like the top right and bottom left patches the best - and of course the little hedgepig with his flower. Totally adorable card.
Whatever about you facing the rain and wind, it wouldn't have done the card any good either. I'm already feeling sad that now if I don't get my card made before dinner it's indoor photos for me - and on windy days.

What a great card! WOnderful stitching, piercing, and piecing. sorry about the weather - that is why we left the Gunnison area and we (and the rv) are headed for AZ!
I need a card for a SIL for her birthday in a few days - she is a quilter and this would be great, though I may take a few shortcuts. TFS
