Trying out a few more kid-friendly Christmas cards
I used my Sizzix Ornament Die to make an acetate ornament, a red one (Real Red), and a white one. I ripped the white one to create my snow and because I have limited supplies (like no glitter or glitter pen) I put some Versamark on the ripped edge and then used clear EP to give it a shimmery/snowy look.
On the acetate ornament, I stamped the snowflake from Snow Swirled in StazOn and also brushed the edge of it in the StazOn (white) to give it a finished edge look. (I tried using SU White Craft ink because it's brighter - but couldn't get it to set/dry without embossing and didn't want to emboss).
I stamped the bear from Hampton Art Ellen Krans Penguin Holidays on white and cut him out and colored his scarf with Real Red.
I put the topper on the ornament and used some silver cording for my ornament hanger.
I used Scotch Restickable Adhesive (glue stick like) on this ornament so it could be removed from the card and used as a real ornament. It is mounted on Old Olive SU cardstock and I used the StazOn White with the snowflake again and used Old Olive for the Merry Christmas (unknown set).
TFL and let me know what you think - it was fun to make!
