This is my card for TLC239 - the Technique Challenge for 9/21/09. This was fun and easy. The challenge was to make homemade buttons from cardstock.
My base is SU True Thyme and BG is a premade Faux Silk Coffee filter stamped with Hero Arts Old French Writing & Eggplant Envy ink.
I found some beautiful fabric ribbon at a rummage this weekend and attached that to the left side, trimming it with leftover yard scraps.
I pressed both buttons in VersaMark and put several layers of embossing powder on them until I got the effect I wanted. I used Clear on the red one and gold on the other one. They are popped up and trimmed with the yarn scraps. Sentiment is computer generated. tfl
