It's the 3rd Thurs, and that means time for another Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge. Let Them Eat Cake
The colors and pattern really appealed to me in this fabulous design. So for my calorie free version, I used cool caribbean and chocolate chip.
Across the bottom of a choc chip panel, I used a Martha Stewart punch three times. This particular punch doesn't completely separate from the panel so I thought it might look interesting to put a strip of the cool carib thru/behind the punched shapes. I attached a couple of punched flowers (Punch Bunch) on top. The punched border is another MS punch. This is attached underneath the choc chip layer and a narrow strip of choc chip was attached under the punched border.
The butterfly flourish was stamped w/ dark brown chalk ink onto a separate panel of the cool carib and cut w/ a large Spellbinders rectangle. I stamped the butterfly again on a scrap, cut it out and attached it w/ foam tape to the original. The sentiment was cut w/ a Quickutz oval die. I punched two choc chip and one cool carib flowers and attached them in the upper right corner. A red glaze pen was used to add red centers to the flowers. Finished card is 4.25 x 5.5 (A2).
Thanks so much for looking! We'd love for you to come join our challenge. If you upload here, please put DDIC in your keywords so we can find you. My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them

Julie, I saw this on your blog when I checked out the Divine Diva Challenge this week and was taken aback to say the least. My goodness gravy Julie, how do you do it??? This is a perfect layout, perfect color combo, image, punches, flowers, butterflies, etc. It's magnifico. OMG, it makes mine look so sad in comparison. I LOVED the vibrant colors of the inspiration cake, but the paper I chose didn't wreak vibrant, so it's kind of dull and boring I think. Anyway, at least I got to the challenge this week as I've missed the last couple weeks. Again, kudos to you for this awesome card! TFS!
