This embroidered dishtowel and gift card are for a housewarming party. The card's sentiment was made in Word using the font Pea Bev from Kevin and Amanda's blog http://www.kevinandamanda.com/whatsn...gory/new-fonts
The house is a little Studio G set. A couple of buttons tied with floss, and a quick zip around the card with a Dritz tracing wheel to simulate stitching (hard to see in the photo) and it was done.

I can't decide if I like the towel or the card better - they are both really super! After looking at the towel/card combos, I decided I need to harvest, get a new house and get married again so I can get some cool presents (JK although I did marry my husband twice already - one in the mountains at a little chapel and once in our church during Sunday church service - remind me to tell you the story - it is really interesting). Love the colors and the buttons on that card!

Hmmm...if I get married again, no wait- that is Nancy talking! Lol- Ann, your work is so beautiful I think I would cry if anyone actually used it! Your little cards to go along with are adorable.

Cute card and towel. I am Ann's sil and am the lucky receipent of many of her handmade items. She INSISTS that we use the towels she makes for us! I display them in the kitchen for awhile and when I get a new one I put it on display and retire the other one to be used.
