Being that Garnet, that's me, has been hired as cub reporter for the Jellystone news, we investigated your story regarding the bear in the picnic basket. As is often the case, eye-witnesses got the story all wrong.
The basket purportedly belonging to the ladies Tea Party Club, belongs to Barney. And, Barney himself was never inside the basket. He was holding it close — guarding the goodies until his friend, Ted, could bring in the main course. Barney brought all the side dishes to go with fresh trout: corn on the cob, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, chocolate cake..... you know, the usual fixin's.
Of course he also packed iced tea in his basket because those ladies were coming in for a tea party and the sun was very warm on Tuesday.
Ted Bear had the time of his life, catching the biggest trout in the river. But Barney told this reporter that he was more than a little sad and it is all the cause of those ladies spreading a story that he had gotten into their basket.

MMMMMMMMM fresh trout and tea. My kind of party
Darling card too. Love the subtle cuttlebugged background, I always have a habit of having the cuttlebug take over the card and this is just a nicer way to do it! Thanks for the idea

Hi, Garnet!
Cub reporter - he-he-he!
I am glad someone got the story straight. That is a challenge with these tea party ladies - we each have our own version LOL!
Great card, and that is a good looking image. I do not have a scor pal nor have I even seen one, but I like the result. Great looking image, too.

What! The tea party ladies got the facts confused? I can hardly believe that (said with tongue in cheek.) Love your story and the "cub" reporter gave me a giggle. The sentiment is perfect for the picture.

Hey, whose side you on anyway??? Snort! Isn't it just like a reporter to twist the story around and make a group of innocent, sweet, never get in trouble, pack of tea potters into the bad guys! Barney is at home by now giggling how he pulled one over on the Reporter....and he and Ted ordered dinner in......from the local seafood restaurant! So there! Nanner, Nanner, Boo Boo! Giggle!
Your card is great, your story is great! Your bear looks like he might not fare so well against the grizzlies! Giggle! Good to see you!

I love your image - it's just like something from a picture book, and so beautifully coloured. And your scored base is a great touch, too. Cub reporter - beary clever!!
