This card is for the Teapot Tuesday challenge hosted by Mothermark. This week, we are having our teaparty in Jellystone Park in Mississippi (I always thought Jellystone was out west, but oh well). We were going to have a nice picnic, but an adorable little baby bear, Barney, has gotten in our picnic basket and refuses to come out. We are trying various methods to get him to come out (bribery, scare tactics, the smell of food - that one always works on me).
I have brought two young bears with me hoping they could help get Barney to come out of the basket but they have fallen asleep and won't be much help (they are related to Ginger and you know how she falls asleep at the drop of hat). I think the problem is that they ate everything in my basket except that stalk of wheat behind them. I should have been smarter than that - everyone knows a bear can't resist a full picnic basket!
If you want to join in the picnic fun, you can find the details in the Forum under Challenges - look down at the second set of challenges and it is usually the first one.

Nancy, this is adorable. I love how you have the bears in your basket!! What a hoot. They are so cute I am sure that if we ask nicely that they will get out and let us have some of that food! I love your red, gingham, picnic blanket looking ribbon! I see you brought some ants too. Yours are cuter though!!

How totally darling are those bears. And I just love your rustic-look picnic basket. It looks quite big - no wonder they have fallen asleep if they scoffed all that lot. Your trees are just right too - I nearly used them this morning, so I am glad to see they are getting an airing.

So you're telling me that the way to get a bear out of a basket is to bring two more bears in a basket! Snort! I indeed know all about Ginger..how's the old girl doing? Probably somewhere napping huh!
I love how you got the red and white checkered on this card, the forest trees, the pic-a-nic food, baskets and bears! You got it all girlfriend! I googled Jellystone Park and picked the location with the goofiest name! Snort...that's how I do things! Giggle!
