This is another one of yesterday's experiments. Gina K. has a video on how to stamp on soot. I had the wrong paper and didn't have a proper fixative, but I'm impatient and wanted to do it.
I waved my cardstock over a flame to get it all sooty. Then I stamped my leaves. I also cuttlebugged the leaf folder, but you can't really see that. I mounted it on the white, kraft, and then the soft suede. I had some cool ribbon that I thought looked kind of neat with it also. Kind of different, but I like it.

Kim, I am in total awe of what you've created today. I've just favorited this but honestly I dont know why: I could never recreate what you've done with this card. In my opinion, this is so artistic and so gorgeous. Kim, what a grand scale card this is. My compliments!!!

I saw that video. It is such a cool technique. Why just look at what you have done here. It is simply lovely and oh so stunning. You did such a super job. I am so inspired to give it a try too. Love your card. TFS :0)
