What a cool technique. I tried it this morning before leaving for work. When I got home I stamped my new this month flower from Clear Dollar Stamps on it clear ep'ing it. Tricky. Liked the results better before stamping on it, but I kept working with it.....more details.....
Put some crystal effects on the flower and then set it under a light to try and speed up the drying time. When dry, cut the flower out with my art knife.
Loved the look of the faux enamel bg. Thought you can't see the hole in the center where the flower was, so why waste it. So I used it as one of the layers. Pulled out a few scraps for the other layers.
Used some shimmering cs sponged with summer sun for the top layer. Stamped and eb the sentiment. Popped up the poinsettia flower.
Put all my layers together on a white card and added the black and white gingham bow that my friend Anne Ryan hand tied and gave to me. Kind of makes my card classy don't you think?
Well, I worked hard to get this to look "OK" to me. Hopefully you like it......TFL :0)

Holy smokes, is this ever gorgeous. I really mean that. What a striking card you've created today. I havent looked to see what today's challenge is/was, but you sure hit the nail on the head with this no matter what the challenge was. I am so lovin' this card. See there is another side to you that creates fabulously elegant cards. Of course, you must know it's the bow, though, that really brings all this beuaty together so wonderfully well. 3 gold stars for this one! yikes!
